The Implementation of Good Corporate Governance at General Banks

Bank Indonesia (BI) in response to the increasing complexity that face banks in the performance of their functions in this era of globalization and the ever-shrinking world combined with a need to protect stakeholders interests and raise the levels of compliance with prevailing laws and regulations, there is an immediate need to implement some basic good corporate governance principles at general banks.
