Time Sensitive Energy Compliance Introduced: Energy Providers and Users Required to Act on Audit Results Within Three Years

In 2012, Indonesia’s Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 14 of 2012 on Energy Management (“ Regulation 14/2012 ”), which required energy and energy source users (“ Energy ”) to implement energy management through the application of five specific methods that ranged from the appointment of an energy manager to annual reporting of the implementation of energy management to a competent authority.
