In bid to further increase the effectiveness of Indonesian tin exports, the Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 53 of 2018 (“ Second Amendment ”) which amends Regulation of the Minister No. 44/M – DAG/PER/7/2014 on Export Provisions for Tin (“ Regulation 44/2014 ”) for a second time. [1] Regulation 44/2014 was amended once previously through the issuance of Regulation of the Minister No. 33/M-DAG/PER/5/2015 (“ Amendment ”).The Second Amendment redefines several provisions which pertain to the following matters:
