Tire Importers Now Required to Secure Technical Considerations for Import Approval

In 2017, the Minister of Industry (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation of the Minister No. 01/M-IND/PER/1/2017 on Procedures for the Issuance of Import-Approval Recommendations for Tires, as amended by Regulation of the Minister No. 31 of 2019 (“ Regulation 1/2017 ”) ,which,  in essence, set out various guidelines that specifically relate to the issuance of the import-approval recommendations required for imports of tires.
