Back in 2020, the government introduced Regulation of the Government No. 27 of 2020 on the Management of Specific Garbage (“ Regulation 27/2020 ”). As its title suggests, this framework set out detailed procedures for the reduction and/or handling of garbage in ways that require specific management, including garbage containing hazardous and toxic substances (Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun– “ B3 ”) (“ B3 Garbage ”) and waste containing B3 (“ B3 Waste ”).
