In 2016, the Minister of Law and Human Rights issued Regulation No. 67 of 2016 on Trademark Registrations, which was subsequently amended by Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 12 of 2021 (collectively referred to as “ Regulation 67/2016 ”). [1] As its title suggests, Regulation 67/2016 sets out provisions that specifically address the requirements and procedures for trademark registrations within Indonesia, including various types of information (e.g. trademark labels) and supporting documents (e.g. statement of trademark ownership) that must be submitted as a part of trademark registration applications.
