In an effort to provide greater certainty and increase added-value for current and future crypto-assets transactions and businesses within Indonesia, the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi– “ Bappebti ”) has issued Regulation No. 8 of 2021 (“ Regulation 8/2021 ”), which updates and provides a more comprehensive set of guidelines for the organization of the physical market trading of crypto-assets through the futures exchange.
