The Department of Transportation (DoT) has sent a Bill on Traffic and Road Transportation (RUU LLAJ) to the House of Representatives (DPR) for discussion, debate, and enactment. This bill has been expected for some time and unfortunately the DoT appears to have not undertaken sufficient consultation, either public or institutional, and consequently the bill is riddled with potential issues. The most likely outcome is that the bill will be withdrawn and the issues addressed or the deficiencies will be rectified through the discussion and debate phase at the DPR.
