In 2021, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 13 of 2021 on Free Spaces and Minimum Clearance Limitations (collectively referred to as “ Clearance Space ”) for Electrical Power Transmission Networks (“ Transmission Networks ”) and Compensation for Land, Buildings and/or Plants (collectively referred to as “ Objects ”) Located Below the Free Spaces of Networks (“ Regulation 13/2021 ”). [1] As its title suggests, Regulation 13/2021 specifically addresses Clearance Space requirements and outlines procedures for the provision of compensation to owners of Objects that are located in spaces that are utilized for the installation of Transmission Networks.
