With a view to decreasing the number of casualties sustained from natural disasters, and in particular tsunamis, the Minister of Communication and Information has issued RegulationNo. 20/P/M.KOMINFO/8/2006which stipulates that all broadcasters are obligated to broadcast as a STOP PRESS early warning service for natural disasters.
