Unlicensed Palm Oil Plantations in Forest Areas to Face State Reacquisitions: BUMN and BP BUMN to Manage Reacquired Land

In 2021, the Minister of Environment and Forestry specifically addressed a wide array of aspects and mechanisms relating to forestry planning, changes to the designations and functions of forest areas and uses of forest areas through the issuance of Regulation No. 7 of 2021 (“ Regulation 7/2021 ”).
