Updated Accreditation Standards for Hospitals: Patient and Facility Safety Standards Simplified to Three Aspects

In 2022, the Minister of Health (“ Minister ”) introduced Decree No. HK.01.07/MENKES/1128/2022 (“ Decree 1128/2022 ”) on Hospital Accreditation Standards (“ Accreditation Standards ”) which, as its title suggests, has been used as a reference during the implementation and organization of hospital accreditation. [1] In this regard, it should be noted that the various Accreditation Standards outlined under Decree 1128/2022 were briefly summarized in the following edition of Indonesian Legal Brief (“ ILB ”): “ Minister of Health Introduces Hospital Accreditation Standards ”.
