Updated SKKNI Introduced for Insurance Sector: 57 Competencies Now Available

The Minister of Manpower (“ Minister ”) recently issued Decree No. 12 of 2024 (“ Decree 12/2024 ”) on the Stipulation of Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (Indonesian National Work Competency Standards –“ SKKNI ”) for the Financial and Insurance Activity Main Category of Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Funds and Non-Mandatory Social Security Within the Insurance Sector Category (collectively referred to as “ Insurance Sector ”), which has been in force since 22 January 2024. Decree 12/2024 repeals and replaces the previous SKKNI standards for the above-listed sectors, as originally featured under the framework of Decree No. 23 of 2019 (“ Decree 23/2019 ”), which bore the same title as Decree 12/2024.
