Warrant Traders Take Note: JATS Revises Trading of Equity Securities

In 2023, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (“ BEI ”) issued Regulation No. II-A (“ Previous Regulation II-A ”) as the Appendix to Decree of the Board of Directors of BEI No. Kep-00055/BEI/03-2023 on the Trading of Equity Securities (“ Decree 55/2023 ”). As its title suggests, Regulation II-A broadly outlined various provisions on the trading of equity securities through the Indonesian Stock Exchange (“ Exchange ”), including trading times, auto-rejection percentage limits and so forth. In this regard, it should be noted that various provisions that feature under Decree 55/2023 were first summarized in the following edition of Indonesian Legal Brief (“ ILB ”): “ PT BEI Gradually Readjusts Trading Policies and Revokes Relaxations Put in Place During COVID-19 Pandemic ”.
