You Have 48 Hours, Dont Delay: Late Submission of Occupational Accident or Illness Reports Now Shifts JKK Benefit Responsibility to Employers!

In 2021, the Minister of Manpower (“ Minister ”) introduced  Regulation (“ Regulation 5/2021 ”) No. 5 of 2021 on Procedures for the Organization of the Work-Accident Insurance (Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja– “ JKK ”), Life Insurance (Jaminan Kematian– “ JKM ”) and Old-Age Benefit (Jaminan Hari Tua– “ JHT ”) Programs. As its title indicates, Regulation 5/2021 established a set of guidelines for the registration, reporting and determination of JKK, JKM and JHT (collectively referred to as “ Insurance Programs ”) memberships.
