The Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal - "BPJPH") plans to implement cooperation with e-commerce due to an impact of budget efficiency and in order to achieve national strategic targets.
“E-commerce is in the interest of regulation. Currently, the amount of advertising expenditures from e-commerce have reached Rp 71 trillion. There are discussions about e-commerce advertising using our platform, Sihalal," said Haikal Hassan, Head of Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body.
“Sihalal aims to facilitate business actors in managing halal certification. In addition to the collaboration plan, Haikal also emphasized the need to maximize digital transformation to enhance certification services.”
