President Director of PT Nusantara Bona Pasogit, Hendi Apriliyanto, has proposed that the government create regulations for uncertified documents. The aim is to allow such proof of ownership to be used as collateral by banks.
“If President Prabowo truly wants to help Micro-, Small-, and Medium-scale Enterprises (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah– “ UMKM ”), please create regulations regarding land documents or guarantees that are not yet certified. For example, Sub-district Head’s Decree, girik, and so on,” he said to Hukumonline.
He believes that the legalization scheme for these documents could benefit both banks and entrepreneurs. “This will boost the growth of Rural Banks (Bank Perekonomian Rakyat– “ BPR ”), and we will certainly provide financing to UMKM based on our analysis,” he added.
