One of the sub-clusters of PT Danareksa (Persero) is media and technology. Member of Commission VI of the DPR, Rieke Diah Pitaloka, proposed that Danareksa maximize the potential of this sub-cluster through a creative industry roadmap.
“The creative industry in question is culture-based, like what has been done by Korea. It contributes significantly to the state budget,” said Rieke to Hukumonline.
The positive impacts of this development include job creation and improved welfare, as well as the preservation, empowerment, and strengthening of culture and cultural products. The creative industry can be managed professionally by Danareksa, with a focus on providing funding support, management training, and even marketing.
If the policy is implemented, sectors such as fashion, culinary, cosmetics, and others can also be developed. “There will be a domino effect in improving the people's economy and providing space for young people to become entrepreneurs who are guided and supported by the state, including in the gaming industry,” she said.
