ID Food plans to cooperate with Micro-, Small-, and Medium-scale Enterprises (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah– “ UMKM ”) to ensure that the policy aligns with the institution’s work plan. This is related to palm oil, which has been proposed in Draft Law (Rancangan Undang-Undang– “ RUU ”) on Strategic Commodities.
“Beyond our official assignment, we also collaborate with UMKM or other small enterprises, farmers, and associations to help them grow effectively,” said ID Food’s Director of Finance and Strategy, Susana Indah Kris Indriati, to Hukumonline.
Meanwhile, for other proposed commodities such as cocoa, sugarcane, tea, tobacco, coconut, and coffee, Indah claimed that the she has already been working with farmers to meet export demands.
“In doing business, we always prioritize the existing ecosystem. In line with the government’s program, we actively contribute to developing a people-centered economy,” she said.
