The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia (“Kejagung RI”), through the Deputy Attorney-General for Civil and Administrative Affairs (“Jamdatun”), is involved in finalizing the Draft Regulation of the Government (“RPP”) in accordance with the provisions of Article 87F of Law No. 19 of 2003 on State-Owned Enterprises (“BUMN”), as amended most recently by Law No. 1 of 2025 (collectively referred to as “Law 19/2003”). This policy is intended to ensure legal compliance, trace legal risks related to state losses, and provide documentary evidence in mediation decision-making.

“In accordance with the mandate of Article 87F of the BUMN Law, we (Jamdatun, ed.) are also assisting in finalizing the RPP,” stated Irene Putri, Director of Legal Advisory Services at Jamdatun, Kejagung of the Republic of Indonesia.

Jamdatun, through the Directorate of Legal Advisory Services, will act as a mediator in resolving disputes that arise between BUMN and other BUMN, between BUMN and the government, or between BUMN and investors. This aligns with plans to establish Adhyaksa Chambers as a more professional mediation center for both government and private entities in the future.
