The government has confirmed that refinancing, restructuring, and supplementation schemes for Agricultural Equipment and Machinery (“Alsintan”) Credit have not been regulated in the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs No. 6 of 2025 on the Amendment to the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs No. 3 of 2023 on Guidelines for the Implementation of Business Credit for Agricultural Equipment and Machinery (collectively referred to as “Regulation 3/2023”).
Head of the Sub-Directorate for Program and Investment Credit, Darta, said that the three mechanisms will be regulated separately so that they are more detailed and in line with the needs of debtors and distributors.
“This requires in-depth discussion,” said Darta.
The complexity of the regulations arises from the modification of a mixed scheme that has never been applied before in financing programs. The government considers that this condition needs to be discussed further so that the mechanism is clear and does not cause overlap.
The development will be conducted in stages while still referring to existing policies within the framework of Labor-Intensive Industry Credit (“KIPK”).
