The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (“Komdigi”) is currently preparing a Draft Ministerial Regulation (“RPermen”) concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the National Data Center (Pusat Data Nasional – “PDN”) Service Hub. This regulation is a follow-up to Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 95 of 2018 (“Perpres 95/2018”) on Electronic-Based Government System (Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik – “SPBE”).

“This Draft Regulation will govern the position, duties, functions, and organizational structure of the PDN Service Hub as a technical implementation unit under the Directorate General of Digital Government Technology,” said Radita Ajie, Head of Komdigi’s Legal Bureau, to Hukumonline.

The establishment of the PDN Service Hub is a strategic measure in supporting national digital transformation by providing an integrated data center service that adheres to government information interoperability and security principles. “Currently, the harmonization process is underway,” she added.
