The Ministry of Communication and Digital (“Komdigi”) is set to issue a Ministerial Regulation (“Permen”) regarding Public Scope Electronic System Providers (“PSE”). This regulation will govern the classification of data that can be managed by the government in the National Data Center (“PDN”).
"So later, walidata will classify what types of data can and cannot be placed within the Komdigi PDN ecosystem. The classifications will be divided into open, restricted, and closed data collected from public services," said Acting Director of Strategic Policy at Komdigi, Teguh Arifiyadi, to Hukumonline.
The ministerial regulation will serve as a supporting policy for the utilization of the PDN ecosystem being developed by the government in several cities, including Cikarang, Batam, Bajo, and the new capital city Nusantara (“IKN”). This will ensure well-managed public services under an integrated government system.
"It is only awaiting approval, as it is already on the minister’s desk," Teguh concluded.
