The Ministry of Forestry (“ Kemenhut ”) will revise the Non-Tax State Revenue (“ PNBP ”) tariff derived from administrative fines. This is a follow-up to the revision of Regulation of the Government No. 24 of 2021 on Procedures for the Imposition of Administrative Sanctions and the Procedures for PNBP Originating from Administrative Fines within the Forestry Sector (“ PP 24/2021 ”), which was signed by President Prabowo Subianto on September 10.
“PP 24/2021 is a collaboration with the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force, but the PNBP will go to the Ministry of Forestry. It’s just the tariff that will change,” said Ade Triaji, Director General of Forestry Planning at the Ministry of Forestry, to Hukumonline.
Eko Novi, the Head of Sub-Directorate of Forestry Supervision and Administrative Sanctions at the Ministry of Forestry, stated that the amount of PNBP tariff is still being processed. Under Regulation of the Government No. 36 of 2024 on the Types and Tariffs of PNBP Applicable at the Ministry of Environment, administrative fines are set at a maximum of Rp 3 billion.
“The exact amount of PNBP tariff will be adjusted,” said Eko to Hukumonline.
