Regulation of the President on National Nutrition Agency to be Revised

The National Nutrition Agency (“BGN”) is proposing amendments to a number of provisions in Regulation of the President No. 83 of 2024 on BGN (“Regulation 83/2024”). In addition to the amendments to Regulation 83/2024, there are two related agency regulations that will be revised.

The Head of the Legal and Public Relations Bureau of BGN, Khairul Hidayati, said that the changes to the regulations are proposals to be amended in the upcoming legislative program. According to him, the points of change in a number of regulations will be discussed further.

“We are proposing revisions to three regulations, one of which is Regulation 83/2024,” Hida told Hukumonline.

Regulation 83/2024 itself establishes the formation of BGN, which is directly responsible to the President for coordinating the integrated fulfillment of community nutrition.
