A number of regulations have been identified as priority areas for acceleration by Working Group (“ Pokja ”) III of the Task Force (“ Satgas ”) for the Acceleration of the Government’s Strategic Programs (Percepatan Program Strategis Pemerintah– “ P2SP ”), which is established by President Prabowo. This Pokja is responsible for regulatory support and law enforcement for the government’s strategic programs.

“Approximately three regulatory issues will be processed by this satgas of acceleration,” said Haryo Limanseto, Spokesperson of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, in an interview with Hukumonline.

Haryo explained that the first issue concerns the finalization of all Regulation of the Minister derived from Regulation of the  Government No. 28 of 2025 on the Organization of Risk-Based Business Licensing (“ PP 28/2025 ”). It is expected that the Satgas P2SP will be able to provide certainty and completeness following the revision of this regulation of the government.

The pokja is also tasked with finalizing regulations to support the government’s economic package programs. This includes the drafting of Regulation of the Minister of Finance (Peraturan Menteri Keuangan- “ PMK ”) on Value-Added Tax (Pajak Pertambahan Nilai- “ PPN ”) borne by the government (Ditanggung Pemerintah- “ DTP ”), PMKs supporting the Merah Putih Village Cooperatives, and regulations on trade policy through non-tariff measures.

Haryo assured that the Regulation of the President, which serves as the legal basis for the Satgas P2SP, is expected to be completed in the near future. He emphasized that the task force will involve cross-Ministerial and Agency participation.
