The Supreme Court (Mahkamah Agung – “MA”) is currently preparing revisions to Book II concerning the Guidelines for the Technical Implementation of Judicial Administration and Court Implementation. The revision to Book II is intended to accommodate the increasingly dynamic practical needs of judicial proceedings in practice.
“It is still in the finalization stage so that it can be discussed again this month,” stated Nadia Yurisa Adila, Judicial Judge at the Bureau of Law and Public Relations of the Supreme Court, to Hukumonline.
The update to Book II will include several adjustments to new provisions under Law No. 20 of 2025 on the Criminal Procedure Code (Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Acara Pidana – “KUHAP”). In addition, the revision is also being undertaken as a follow-up to Supreme Court Regulation (“Perma”) No. 4 of 2025 on Procedures for Adjudicating Lawsuits Filed by the Financial Services Authority (“OJK”) as a Consumer Protection Measure (“Perma 4/2025”), in order to support the harmonization of technical judicial implementation within the General Courts, Religious Courts, Military Courts, and State Administrative Courts.
