Sentenced to 4.5 Years in Prison in Sugar Import Case, Tom Lembong: I Was Proven to Have No Mens Rea
The question surrounding the fate of Thomas Trikasih Lembong, commonly known as Tom Lembong, has finally been answered. The Panel of Judges at the Corruption Court declared that the former Minister of Trade was proven guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption as charged under Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Law on Eradication of Corruption Crimes in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) point 1 of the Criminal Code.
